Mark began his career in Financial Services in 1983. He started his first independent advisory business in 1987 just two weeks after the great stock market crash—certainly an interesting time to start!

For Mark, his career has always been about forging meaningful long-term client relationships in order to foster confidence and mutual trust. He believes that the highest level of integrity is the key to maintaining these relationships and Mark is enjoying business life working with his clients and his colleagues.

In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family; he also likes trying to keep fit, by running, or visiting the gym. He is content to be an avid spectator of most sports, but his favourites are Rugby Union and Football.

Mark Loydall (FPFS FCSI MSc)

Mark has chartered qualifications from both the Chartered Insurance Institute and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He became a Chartered Financial Planner many years ago and also has an MSC in Financial planning and Business Management. He enjoys working with his clients, helping them to plan their financial futures in order to achieve their life-time aspirations.

Outside of work, Mark is married with three grown up children. He has a variety of interests from keeping fit, including cycling to building up his small-holding in South Scotland where he breeds alpacas, sheep, and chickens. “Cambourne handled our company SSAS pension scheme very successfully for over 20 years. Upon retirement they converted this to individual SIPPs, plus an annuity. Since retiring in 2005, my personal SIPP has been excellently managed. We have regular reviews and Cambourne also advise on some of my personal funds, in addition to the SIPP. Cambourne monitor various funds and keep me informed on all issues and understand my individual needs”
